Zanzibar is one of the most famous beach destinations of Africa. There are some spectacular beaches on the island, with pristine white sands and clean blue ocean water. These beaches are lined with resorts, from the south, all the way up the east coast and to the northern tip of the island. Activities, which can be enjoyed at additional costs, include scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, stand up paddle boarding or swimming with the dolphins. A day trip into Stone Town is well worth the time where the narrow streets are lined with traders selling everything from art works to ancient wooden doors, from tie dye t-shirts to the local Tanzanite jewelry. Although Zanzibar offers a range of activities, many travelers choose to simply relax and unwind after their Kilimanjaro climb. You can sit back enjoying the resort, sunbath on the beautiful beach and watch the white dhow sailing boats as the local fisherman find their daily catch.
For many people, a trip to Africa is not complete without experiencing a safari. Choosing the Safari & Zanzibar option will allow you to experience the 3 best things, which Tanzania has to offer - Mt Kilimanjaro, Safari & the beach.
Day 1This morning you will depart Moshi to Materuni which is one of the few villages of wonder in Northern Tanzania sitting at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The village is blessed full of all the beauty worth visiting whilst on holiday. From in the village, the scenic view of Moshi Town and Mount Kilimanjaro is astonishing. This green village with fresh air from green vegetation welcomes visitors to explore the beauty of the land and cultural heritage of the Chagga people. A cultural experience such as coffee roasted the traditional way can be added to your hike for a small additional cost of $ 5 per person. Later around 3pm you will be back to Paradise Hostel. Day 2This Morning you will depart Moshi to Chemka Hot Springs (Maji Moto).
